CSS/XML Timeline is a simple yet powerful HTML5 tool for generating interactive timelines from CSS and dynamic XML data. Create XML events then pass them to this tool to generate a timeline. The XML source can be prepared manually, or generated dynamically using any scripting language (PHP, ASP, CFML, Perl, etc.)

Version 1.1.0 Mar 6, 2016(This update may require editing previously created timelines.)
Replaced the .period CSS declaration with .period_background and .period_title. This enables positioning the events' titles independently, and adding children to the events' background without clipping them.
To construct an event id that never conflicts with CSS syntax, the id is now constructed from the timeline's div id, followed by the event's title, using only the alphanumeric characters.
Fixed: prev button goes to the beginning of the timeline if no other date events are found.
